The Phantom Racer is a Hot Wheels Original design that was intended to be a spinoff of the Lexus 2054 concept car in the film Minority Report due to licensing issues. As seen on the 2004 poster, this model was originally to be titled "MR-T" for unknown reasons but was changed to Phantom Racer by the release. The poster indicated this in advance by marking this model name with an asterisk (name subject to change).
Belker himself calls the casting the T-Cruiser on his website.
