Hatflings! is a light-hearted, competitive board game where each player commands a lively team of halflings in the legendary Game of Hats, held every spring during the Halftown Festival.
Your goal? Steal your opponents’ hats and spread your colour across the board.
Each team starts with its own hat colour (orange or purple), and the action unfolds on a 6 × 6 grid representing the festival grounds.
How it plays

On your turn, you place a halfling tile onto the board.

Every adjacent opponent tile is flipped, changing its hat to your team’s colour.

Clever placement is everything: one move can swing the balance of the whole board.
Special halflings
Not all halflings are created equal!
Unique characters—like the big-bellied halflings or halflings on stilts—bring special abilities that bend the rules and open up tactical surprises.
Game end & victory
The festival ends when no more halflings can enter the game zone.
The team showing the most hats of their colour at the end claims victory—and eternal bragging rights in Halftown.
Fast to learn, tricky to master, and full of cheerful chaos, Hatflings! is all about timing, positioning, and just the right amount of mischief.
